So, who wants to come to the beach for their senior/family pictures?? Shooting at the beach is so much fun and so relaxed. The Oregon coast has so many hidden gems and treasures, such a perfect backdrop for any session.
We took our annual end-of-school-year trip to the beach this May. Weather is always a gamble when heading to the Oregon coast, but we're ok with that. The first day just rainnnneed and rained, but you know what? It was worth it for the sun we got on the last day. The kids played and played. By the time lunch and nap rolls around, they are WORN OUT and sleep like rocks. The beach really is the best place!
Since the weather was going to be nice on the last day, I busted out my camera and got these shots of the kids. When shooting at the beach I highly recommend wearing light colored neutrals, like white, cream, gray, beige, kacki, etc. Denim can work too. As always, I'm a BIG fan of dresses. My 3 year old had SOOO much fun twirling and running around in her play dress. The hat was a bit hit too. And of course, bare feet are a must :)
